Live Well Occupational & Hand Therapy Services is an appointment based, 7 day a week service, business & after hours, offering flexibility for individuals and their busy lives.

Our area of service covers north east Victoria and southern NSW including:

All Live Well OT & Hand Therapy services are offered in the comfort of your home.

Clinic Location

Live Well OT has a clinic at 148 Corrys Road, Thurgoona (on the outskirts of Albury).

Depending on where the individual lives and their unique needs, therapy can and regularly is in their homes.

Live Well OT also has access to consulting rooms in both Wangaratta & Benalla.

Live Well OT can assist:

  • Self-funding individuals including State Trustees
  • People who are eligible for
    • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
    • Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA)
    • WorkCover
    • Transport Accident Commission (TAC)
    • People who have Private Health Insurance with extras including Occupational Therapy Services
    • People who have funding through Aged Care Packages, Flexible Support Packages, Post Acute Care etc
  • Chronic Disease Management Program through Medicare (formally Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Program)
Live Well OT is registered to provide both Occupational Therapy & Hand Therapy for clients covered by BUPA Private Health Insurance

Referrals

Live Well OT will accept self-referrals as well as referrals from health care providers. A Doctors referral may be required depending on the funding source – Live Well OT can liaise with the clients GP to arrange this if required.  

About Alison...

Alison Thiel is the OT behind Live Well Occupational & Hand Therapy Services. Since graduating from Charles Sturt University - Albury in 2006, Alison has worked in a variety of practice areas, giving her diverse skills, knowledge and experience. She has worked in remote indigenous communities; palliative care; specialist vision service; community health; acute hospital; in-patient rehabilitation; Hand Therapy & the private health sector.

Having worked in the north east of Victoria since 2008, Alison has great knowledge of the local area and support services available to ensure your clients receive the assistance they require to ”live life to their full potential”.    


Alison is an Associate Member with the Australian Hand Therapy Association and member of Occupational Therapy Australia. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
